Q:  How many hours of photography do I get with each wedding package?

A:  Our packages contain either a maximum of 8 hours or 12 hours of photographic coverage, dependent on which photographic package is chosen. Venue permitting, we like to arrive two hours prior to the ceremony for pre-ceromony shots. We then continue and provide photographic coverage for ceremony and reception (unless otherwise arranged) and stay through to the agreed alotted time. If the Bride & Groom wish to extend the duration of their wedding package photographic coverage time, please contact us for details.

Q:  How many weddings do you book per day?

A:  We book one wedding per day.  Your minimum $500 retainer can be made by cash or check. This secures the date for you and your wedding alone and will be deducted from your total package price.

Q:  What kind of payment plan do you offer?

A:  A minimum $500 retainer secures your wedding date.  50% of the remaining balance is due 90 days prior to the wedding date and the final balance is due 30 days before the wedding date.  We do not set payments for you to make every month or charge interest during that time.  

Q:  Is the $500 retainer a separate fee or does it come out of the package price?

A:  The $500 retainer is a down payment on your wedding package and will be deducted from the total package price (plus applicable tax). 

Q:  What if I want a printable DVD instead of a viewable CD? 

A:  You have the option to upgrade to copyright-free printable DVD for a small fee of $350 + tax per DVD (not applicable to the packages which include copyright-free printable DVD's).

Q:  What is the difference between a viewable CD and a copyright-free DVD?

A:  The viewable CD has all the images from your wedding day (plus enhancements at no extra cost) but at a reduced size and low resolution. These images are copyrighted by Crown Photographic and are suitable for viewing or emailing only and are placed on a high quality Compact disk.   The Copyright-free DVD also contains all the images from your wedding day (plus enhancements at no extra cost) but at greater size and full resolution. Because the size of each image is so large, they are place on a high quality DVD. An official document from Crown Photographic accompanies each copyright-free DVD stating shared copyright release from Crown Photographic to the Bride & Groom.    * Crown Photographic retains co-copyright useage rights of all images for marketing and business promotional purposes *

Q:  Is it possible to add or remove items from wedding packages?

A:  The wedding packages are a guide based on previous requests from brides, grooms, and their parents.  You may substitute items as you wish.  Contact us for details and prices.

Q:  How many photographers will be available for my wedding?

A:  Unless otherwise arranged, there will be two photographers attending your wedding. This will be discussed on your initial consultation.

Q:  I was looking at one of the packages that does not include a bridal or engagement portrait session.  Can I add one to such a package?

A:  You may add either a bridal OR engagement portrait session to a package that does not contain one.  The fee is $300 + tax per session and is dependent on the location(s).  Contact us for more details regarding your individual needs.

Q:  I'm getting married outside the Houston area.  Is there a fee for the extra travel distance?

A:  We apply an additional flat fee of $200 for travel expenses to Austin, San Antonio, Dallas and $100 for Galveston area.  Some areas surrounding Houston may require a small travel fee and are location dependent. Contact us to see if a fee may apply to to your venue(s) . All fees include all pre-wedding day and the wedding day visits to the Ceremony, Reception locations and meeting with the Bride & Groom. If your chosen wedding package includes a Bridal or Engagement Session, fees for these sessions may not be included in the travel cost fee and the fees are dependent on location(s). Q: There is a bit of a distance or wait time between the Ceremony venue and the Reception venue. Is there a additional fee for the extra travel distance and time ?

A:  Additional fees may apply when there is an above average distance or extended wait time between ceremony & reception venues. Contact us for details.

Q:  Do you provide photographic coverage for corporate/special events?  If so, what are your prices?
